Since the arrival of HHO conversion kits to the market, there have been many stories told about it. Sadly, as with any stories, many of them are complete lies and myths, with the only purpose of defaming a system without knowing how it operates. Some myths have a grain of truth behind them, but the other half of the story is often not told. Here are the biggest myths about water-fuel conversion kits ever told:
Myth #1: Hydrogen is a combustible gas that can easily blow up the car
Only half of it is true. Hydrogen is indeed a highly combustible gas which can cause cars to explode. However, HHO conversion kits only produce the hydrogen on demand. This means that hydrogen is created at just the right amount to run and accelerate the car and nothing more. the hydrogen is not stored in the car, so there is no risk of cars exploding, even in the sad case of an accident. Those systems are completely safe.
Myth #2: This system cannot produce more energy than the energy invested in it
This myth is half true. According to the laws of physics and chemistry, those systems cannot produce more energy than the energy it takes to break down water molecules. However, these systems use the car's battery and the engine. That means a clean energy source is used to create another clean energy source. It doesn't make the engine work more, so it doesn't require more fuel and only reduces the amount of fuel needed to run the car.
Myth #3: If it is not implemented in all cars now, it must be non-functional
This is wrong. These systems are not implemented in all cars because of interests of car companies and oil companies. Water-fuel kits are big fuel savers, and many people can approve that this system does reduce fuel consumption and spending at the pump. This myth has been spread around purely out of greed.
Myth #4: HHO conversion systems damage the engine
This is the biggest lie told about these systems. HHO conversion kits are external to the engine and do not interfere with its work. These water-fuel kits have been tested many times with no damage to the engine. Furthermore, many people already installed those systems and can happily confirm that they work well and save money on gasoline.
